PortSide will have a booth at the Oshkosh Chamber Expo is a yearly event held in the Oshkosh Convention Center in downtown Oshkosh. Support local business and the Chamber. A "Business After-Hours" will be held at 5:00pm for a chance to connect with local business people.

This event runs two weekends featuring homes throughout the Fox Valley by local builders. Because of event rules, PortSide can only announce the location of our home one week before the show. For more information on the event, go to www.vhba.net.

The 2008 WHBA Home Show took place February 8-10 at the Sunnyview Expo Center in Oshkosh. The event featured 92 vendors in 138 booths.For the first time in Home Show history, admission was free with a suggested nonperishable food donation or financial donation to benefit The Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity.

The promotion brought in thousands of canned goods for The Salvation Army and generated over $2,200 for Habitat for Humanity! Patrons reacted favorably to the change in admission policy and most exhibitors commented that they were pleased with the quantity and quality of show attendees.

The Door County Home Builders Association will hold their Home Expo at Stone Harbor in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Meet vendors involved in all aspects of construction. PortSide will be at booth # 35.

The Tri-County Arena is hosting the 31st Annual Tri-County Arena Home and Garden Show. The Tri-County Arena is a non-profit corporation. The Home and Garden Show is a major fund raising event for the arena.

The Annual Home and Garden Show has approximately 200 booths for all your remodeling, landscaping, and building needs.

The Parade of Homes is a countywide open house that provides the public with an opportunity to view the latest trends and innovations in new home construction, home design, furnishings and home-related products.

The Parade of Homes book features detailed information about the homes featured in the Parade of Homes event, including floor plans, home descriptions and builder biographies. Parade books are available at the WHBA Office and all Parade Homes.

This year’s Showcase of New Homes features design and construction craftsmanship for consumers to view. Whether people are looking for their first home, executive home, retirement home or anything in between, they’re sure to find something that meets their style and price needs.

Tickets can be purchased at any home during the event. Tickets are $10 (children 2 and under are free if they are carried throughout the entire home). Presale tickets for $8 go on sale at the Brown County Home Builders Association. Presale tickets are also available at the following area businesses: Bank Mutual; Macco’s Floor Covering; North Shore Bank, Van Vreede’s TV & Appliance and Lasting Impressions Decorative Finishings.

When tickets are purchased, consumers will receive the official tour book. Books will also be available at all Showcase homes. The Showcase of New Homes pullout section will also appear in the Green Bay Press-Gazette. The special section will feature a brief description of each home and a detailed map.
